Precedents in architecture task 02 is a continuous assignment from task 01. Here, I was assigned to individually express my analysis and understanding of the Villa Dall'Ava by Rem Koolhaas using A3 squared board (29.7cm x 29.7cm).

Through research and analysis, I have extracted 3 main points of the house to interpret my own abstract model. Those 3 points are:-

1) Stilts

2) Glass Walls or Empty Heart (in media)

3) Body and Space (embraces Bernard Tchumi's concept).

From this, I did mockup models to interpret my ideas.

Initially, the swirl like cardboard that are swirling around a square object indicates the stilts.

whereas the empty heart, I break the CDs into pieces and glued them onto squared transparent sheets as this will then installed LEDs in the box of CD pieces and have that reflective effect. For the body and space, both ends of the swirl cardboard are closed together and gradually expanding in space as it holds up the squared object in the middle.
