Project 01-Precedents In Architecture: Final Model

Final progression and model through research of Rem Koolhaas, Villa Dall'Ava. An abstract model of my interpretation of the house from which I chose were the stilts, glass walls or 'Empty Heart' (in media) and body and space.

Firstly, as shown in the picture, the exoskeleton like structure indicates the stilts where both ends of the structure are compressed in size and space gapping of the lines. As it goes to the center, space lining are gradually expanding, this indicates the body and space. As for the 'empty heart', the light bulb at the center reflects the concept as when it is dim, the structure metaphorically seem as if it is holding or catching an object that is not there, but, as it lit up it actually holds the light.
